Independent practice

Marlin Bridge operates independent service projects. Marlin Bridge Academy provides original educational practice, beginning with PrepSpan English Placement. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or score-equivalent to any examination board. Results are practice estimates only.

Adult customers

The account holder must be aged 18 or over and able to enter a contract in their jurisdiction. A parent or guardian may supervise a school-age learner using an adult-owned account and a learner nickname.

Access licence

Access grants the account holder and one supervised learner a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the protected platform for the applicable period. Only one browser session may be active at a time. It does not transfer ownership of any questions, scripts, explanations, software, or answer keys.

Prohibited use

Users may not scrape, record, republish, sell, share, automate access to, or attempt to extract the question bank or answer key. Access may be paused where abuse, payment fraud, security risk, or legal risk is detected.

Availability

The platform may pause affected content to correct scoring defects, respond to payment or security incidents, or review legal concerns.

Academy Tutoring Platform

Tutors must provide accurate identity, qualification, experience, availability, and pricing information. A profile remains private until administration approves it. Approval is a platform check and is not a guarantee of teaching outcomes. Adult account holders remain responsible for supervising school-age learners and for choosing a suitable tutor.

Protected communication and sessions

Directory users must keep communication, bookings, meetings, and payment inside the platform. They may not publish or request phone numbers, email addresses, external meeting links, social handles, or other methods intended to bypass platform safeguards or fees. Sessions involving a school-age learner must remain under the adult account holder’s supervision.

Payments, fees, and disputes

A booking becomes paid only after confirmation from the hosted payment provider. The displayed total, session count, validity period, platform fee, tutor amount, cancellation terms, and applicable refund policy are recorded with the package. Refund requests and complaints are reviewed through the platform; users must not treat a pending request as an approved refund.
