Marlin Bridge policy
Privacy notice
Last updated: 30 August 2026
Data used
Marlin Bridge uses the buyer’s name, email, mobile number, purchase plan, payment status, access timestamps, and practice scores to provide paid access, prevent abuse, and support the customer.
Enquiries
Contact forms may collect a name, work email, phone number, organization, selected service, and message. These details are used to route, review, and respond to the enquiry and to keep an appropriate business record.
Payment data
Card and wallet details are entered with the hosted payment provider. Marlin Bridge does not receive or store full card numbers or security codes.
Practice data
The platform stores the adult account holder’s email, a learner first name or nickname, sign-in and session hashes, a general browser label, question-attempt records, completion state, and aggregate score. It does not require a child email address or date of birth and does not publish individual results.
Academy contact details
The adult account holder provides a WhatsApp or Telegram number and agrees to be contacted about Academy access and support. Marlin Bridge stores that number and consent record with the account, uses it only for access and support, and does not sell it.
Account notifications
After a verified Academy sign-in, Marlin Bridge sends an operational notification to its designated account email with the adult account email, learner name or nickname, messaging number, language, browser label, and sign-in time. This notification never includes a one-time code, password, session token, or other sign-in secret.
One-browser access
Academy lesson access keeps one active browser session for each account. Signing in on a new browser replaces the previous session. Progress remains connected to the account so it is not lost when the active browser changes.
Academy Tutoring Platform
Public tutoring cards use an Academy code, professional summary, subjects, levels, languages, experience, approximate price, availability, and ratings. Tutor legal identity, phone number, identity reference, and qualifications are stored separately in encrypted form. Authorised administration may access those private details only for verification, safeguarding, complaints, or legal duties, and that access is recorded in a security log.
Tutoring messages and bookings
The platform stores offers, package and booking records, protected messages, payment status, refund requests, profile-specific public questions, and reviews. Before a profile, teaching availability, or public question is stored, automated filters remove detected phone numbers, email addresses, links, and social-media handles. Protected messages reject those details rather than sending them. Users should not try to bypass these controls. Meeting providers receive only the data required to create a private session when that feature is activated.
School-age learners
A school-age learner does not create a separate account. The adult account holder manages requests, offers, messages, bookings, and any payment. Public requests use an Academy code rather than an account identity, and detected contact details are removed before publication.
Automated support
Support questions are converted to a one-way hash for aggregate monitoring. Sensitive topics are escalated and no payment, legal, or security action is executed automatically.
Retention and rights
Records are retained only for access, accounting, security, and legal needs. A verified adult customer may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, subject to records that must be retained.
